Η λίστα  των 100 πιο επιδραστικών ανθρώπων περιλαμβάνει επίσης παγκόσμιους ηγέτες, ανάμεσά τους ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ και ο Κιμ Γιονγκ Ουν, δημοσιογράφους, όπως οι Jodi Kantor, Megan Twohey και Ronan Farrow, που αποκάλυψαν το σκάνδαλο σεξουαλικής παρενόχλησης εναντίον του Χάρβεϊ Γουάινστιν.   Με αφορμή την λίστα, το Time κυκλοφορεί με έξι διαφορετικά εξώφυλλα στα οποία πρωταγωνιστούν η ηθοποιός Nicole Kidman, η τραγουδίστρια Jennifer Lopez, η κωμικός Tiffany Haddish, ο CEO της Microsoft Satya Nadella, ο πρωταθλητής του τένις Roger Federer και η Tarana Burke, ιδρύτρια του κινήματος «Me Too».

@ronanfarrow, @jodikantor and Megan Twohey are among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. As @ashley_judd writes for TIME, it was Jodi and Megan's @nytimes investigation, followed by Ronan's at @newyorkermag, that "spelled out the beginning of the end for many things regarding sexual harassment in the workplace, including Harvey Weinstein himself, nondisclosure agreements, statutes of limitations and impunity to silence." Adds Judd: "Their phenomenal journalistic diligence, craft, care and, perhaps most saliently, ability to cultivate the trust and confidence of their sources have literally transformed our society across public and private spaces. @tiffanyhaddish is one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018—and one of our six #TIME100 covers. @kevinhart4real met her on the #comedy scene 13 years ago: "She was young, raw and funny, almost like she didn’t have a care in the world. But when I noticed her car was packed to the brim with her belongings," recalls the actor, who stars alongside Haddish in @nightschool (out Sept. 28), "I asked her if everything was O.K. That’s when I found out she was homeless and living in that car." Hart gave her $300—"it was all I had with me"—and handed it to her.
