Οι αντάρτες Χούθι της Υεμένης έδωσαν χθες στη δημοσιότητα βίντεο από την επιχείρηση για την κατάληψη του φορτηγού πλοίου «Galaxy Leader» στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα.
Στο οπτικό υλικό που μετέδωσε το τηλεοπτικό δίκτυο Al Masirah φαίνεται ελικόπτερο με κομάντος να προσεγγίζει το πλοίο και ακολούθως οι ένοπλοι να σπεύδουν στη γέφυρα και να υποχρεώνουν τον κυβερνήτη να αλλάξει πορεία.
Το «Galaxy Leader» – το οποίο ανήκει σε εταιρεία Ισραηλινού επιχειρηματία και το διαχειρίζεται ιαπωνικός ναυτιλιακός όμιλος – οδηγήθηκε στις ακτές της Υεμένης. Οι Χούθι είχαν προαναγγείλει εδώ και αρκετές ημέρες ότι θα στρέφονταν κατά ισραηλινών συμφερόντων πλοίων στην Ερυθρά Θάλασσα, αφότου ανέλαβαν την ευθύνη για επιθέσεις εναντίον του Ισραήλ κατά τη διάρκεια του πολέμου στη Λωρίδα της Γάζας.
