Οι Pet Shop Boys, δημοσίευσαν στο επίσημο κανάλι τους στο YouTube ένα βίντεο με τίτλο «Living in the past» αφιερωμένο στον Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν.
Το τραγούδι του βρετανικού δίδυμου πραγματεύεται τη ρωσική εισβολή στην Ουκρανία. Αναφέρει το πρόσφατο ταξίδι του Πούτιν στο Βόλγκογκραντ και συγκρίνει τον ίδιο τον Ρώσο πρόεδρο με τον Στάλιν.
Το βίντεο χρησιμοποιεί πλάνα από την ορκωμοσία του Πούτιν μετά τις προεδρικές εκλογές του 2018 και από τα αποκαλυπτήρια του μνημείου του Στάλιν στο Βόλγκογκραντ το 2023, την παραμονή της 80ης επετείου από τη σοβιετική νίκη στη Μάχη του Στάλινγκραντ.
