Παράλληλα το κρατικό πρακτορείο ειδήσεων της Συρίας SANA μετέδωσε ότι 5 Σύροι στρατιώτες σκοτώθηκαν σε ισραηλινή επιδρομή που είχε στόχο στρατιωτική εγκατάσταση στα σύνορα Συρίας-Λιβάνου τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες σήμερα στην ύπαιθρο της συριακής πρωτεύουσας Δαμασκού.
