Στην Τοσκάνη της κεντρικής Ιταλίας διαγνώσθηκε τέταρτο κρούσμα της ευλογιάς των πιθήκων.
Πρόκειται για έναν άνδρα 32 ετών, ο οποίος ζει στην πόλη Αρέτσο και είχε επιστρέψει πρόσφατα από τις Κανάριες νήσους.
Ο άνθρωπος αυτός επέστρεψε από το εξωτερικό στις 15 Μαΐου και στις 20 Μαΐου διαγνώσθηκε ασθενής.
Η κατάστασή του δεν κρίνεται ανησυχητική και, όπως προβλέπεται, ειδοποιήθηκαν και παρακολουθούνται όλα τα άτομα με τα οποία ο 32χρονος είχε έλθει σε επαφή.
